Clay Livingston's creative cocktails come to life at Louisville's Seven Cocktails & Bourbon, where he works as an Operating Partner. A culinary background paired with 22 years of industry experience ensures Livingston's are some of the most inventive cocktails in the city. Prior to joining Seven in September of 2023, Livingston was General Manager of Clark Street Ale House, General manager of Offshore Rooftop, managing partner at Red Herring in Louisville, Ky, Beverage director at 8UP in Louisville, Ky, and Lead bartender and Mixologist at Southern Art in Atlanta, Ga. With a resume rich with experience and extensive education in the restaurant and hospitality industries, Livingston has received numerous barcraft honors. He completed Tony Abou-Ganim and Dale DeGroff's Finishing School, receiving the title "Master of Vodka," and participated in a bourbon cocktails master class with Johan Svensson of the Cobden Club of London.

A well-decorated mixologist, Livingston was named the 2012 "Most Imaginative Bartender in Atlanta" by GQ magazine, Bombay Sapphire, and the United States Bartender's Guild after having previously been given that title in Louisville in 2009. A Louisville native, Livingston, also spent 10 years in Atlanta and 5 years in Chicago. He attended the University of Louisville for History and currently lives in the NULU neighborhood of Louisville, where he can be found watching Notre Dame football, cooking, and entertaining friends when not at the lounge.
